Humtad Atelier conceptualized and delivered a premier five-bedroom bungalow that redefines single-level luxury living. We engineered a sprawling floor plan that prioritizes spatial fluidity, ensuring that every bedroom functions as a fully independent private suite. By integrating advanced cross-ventilation techniques and high-end architectural finishes, we transformed the traditional bungalow format into a contemporary, climate-responsive residence that balances grandeur with everyday functionality.
Our Mandate
The project required a high-capacity family home that avoided the “cramped” feel often associated with large bungalows. Our responsibilities included:
- Advanced Spatial Planning: Designing a five-bedroom layout that maintains distinct zones for social interaction and private rest.
- Environmental Engineering: Orienting the building to harness natural breeze patterns, reducing the need for constant mechanical cooling.
- Full Suite Integration: Implementing five distinct en-suite bathrooms plus a guest powder room within a cohesive footprint.
- Modern Material Selection: Sourcing durable, low-maintenance materials that retain a premium aesthetic against the tropical Lagos climate.
The Result
Humtad Atelier successfully handed over a residence that excels in thermal comfort and ergonomic design. By merging the convenience of a bungalow with the specifications of a luxury villa, we provided the client with a functional, high-value home that stands as a benchmark for modern residential construction in Ikorodu.
